Where childhood returns in a magic moment with a Total Solar Eclipse

I want to view totality off Reese Road in Brasstown, North Carolina, at the site of my Grandfather’s cattle farm. Through the 60’s and early 70’s, this was my childhood playground and my Grandfather’s pride.

When my father and Aunt sold the land in the early 80’s, none of us could have imagined what a change would occur for this hidden gem of an area. New roads have connected this pristine mountain community with the urban landscape of Atlanta. The homes that have been built where I baled hay is astounding.
